Clear Stone Consultancy reiterates that there are illegal scams where the name of our firm, and/or the names of our consultants, are abused. The firms’ name and sometimes the names of individual consultants within our firm have been used in various fraudulent scam emails, letters and text messages.
All emails from Clear Stone Consultancy use the domain "@clearstoneconsultants.com". We are aware that there have been attempts to use similar domains names like ours to impersonate our consultants and other employees. All our clients have provided anticipated approval prior to receiving any email from us.
You should be cautious if you receive any emails or text messages without reason. If you need to check with us whether an email or text message was sent on our behalf, please contact us, to confirm before replying or taking further action. Often the use of our name seeks to identify a victim by suggesting that an inheritance or a lawsuit has taken place against their firm and can be “solved” by paying an upfront fee to a bitcoin account or to a Middle Eastern individual bank account.
Common themes include:
Our firm will never contact you via email or any form of text, prior to your consent. You should remain alert to communications involving typesetting (i.e., similar spellings to our website domain) and other domains that are mimicry by fraudulent criminals. For example, NOT ONE of the following domains are associated with our firm:
[name]@clearsstoneorg.com
[name]@clearstonelegal.com
[name]@csa-advisory.com
[name]@clearstoneassociate-law.com
We advise you not to reply to fraudulent emails or scam letters/text. If you need to check with us whether a communication is valid, please contact us.
